Our therapy team works with each patient individually throughout the day as ordered by his or her physician. Treatment plans are based on needs and tolerance with a goal to attain maximum independence. Furthermore, our therapists have a combination of 50 years of experience providing quality services.
Occupational Therapy improves one's ability to complete the activities needed to live independently. These activities include such tasks as dressing, hygiene, grooming, coordination of muscle movements, and home care management skills. Exercises and activities are designed to reach the most independent level of living.
Physical Therapy improves skills such as balance, strength, and endurance needed to increase independence. Specific combinations of exercises will assist the individual to reach one's desired goals. Additionally, physical therapy uses electrical stimulation and ultrasound to treat patients with pain, musculoskeletal, and integumentary disorders.
Speech-Language Pathology assists residents to increase memory, problem solving, and cognitive skills. Also, this therapy addresses feeding and swallowing issues for proper nutrition and hydration support recovery.
